How large should a dining table be?

There are 2 things that factor into the size of your dining table: the space you have & the amount of people that you expect.

It is not necessary to get the biggest table you can for your dining space, but your area will decide your limit. Within that limit, you should get a table that, when fully extended,  will accommodate the most people you will expect to dine.
